Before we wrote the first line of code for PortalPlus, we carefully studied each of our competitors, assessing what we liked about their products and what we didn’t like. To formulate our product vision, we conducted over 100 client interviews and researched emerging trends both in Healthcare and the Internet. We raised outside capital and brought together a world-class engineering team to make our vision a reality.

Value-Added Resellers of EHR Systems
Your clients may wish to have more choice when it comes to the patient portal that integrates with their PM/EHR system. When we develop a relationship with a VAR, we recognize that your recommendation of Omedix reflects directly on your company and that a poor client experience can damage your relationship with the client. For this reason, we are realistic and straightforward about what we can deliver. When we do form a VAR partnership, we develop a personal relationship with the principals and work hard to ensure that our partnership advances both the interests of Omedix and your company.
Some of our VAR partners see value merely in offering an alternative to the “official” (and often unsatisfying) patient portal. In other cases, it makes sense to institute revenue sharing agreements. IT Companies
In our experience, your healthcare clients consider you the “technology experts” and often inquire about building a website or where to get a patient portal. Omedix can offer your company a simple way to capitalize on these requests.
We have relationships with a number of IT companies specializing in healthcare who refer their clients to Omedix. Your company need only send us a referral, and we will conduct the full sales process, working with your client to understand their needs, recommend a configuration, and issue a quote. For every client you refer that we enroll, we will share a meaningful portion of revenue with you.
Some of our IT Company partners earn thousands of dollars a year from sending over a simple referral. No training on Omedix products is required, and setting up a partnership amounts simply to signing a referral agreement.
