Dr. William Dolphin, PhD
Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Dolphin joined Omedix in February 2015, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and an extensive history of building and growing successful, global businesses in the lifesciences, healthcare and ITC space. His overarching goal is to facilitate the delivery of healthcare and improved patient outcomes. Dr. Dolphin has served as CEO of numerous companies including SonaMed Corp, a medical device company based in the United States, SpectraNet Ltd, an internet technology company based in New Zealand, Visiomed Group, a publicly-listed medication delivery company based in Australia, and Avita Medical, a publicly-listed regenerative medicine company based in the United Kingdom. Additionally, Dr Dolphin has been a director of over a dozen public and private companies in the United States, Europe, Middle East and Australasia. Most recently, Dr. Dolphin has served as a strategy and management consultant working with client companies in Sweden, the United Kingdom, Italy, Australia and the United States. Dr. Dolphin holds a PhD in biophysics obtained from Boston University. He has held appointments as Professor in the Departments of Biomedical Engineering at Boston University, is the author of more than 60 peer-reviewed scientific articles, holds eight US and international patents and was twice recipient of the National Research Service Award from the US National Institutes of Health.
Director of Operations
Promoted five times during her nine-year tenure with Banner Health, Destinee’s "go do it" attitude and ability to multi-task multiple projects has made her a leader , mentoring others. She worked directly with Doctors, Clinic Management, and staff as a Trainer, Educator, and Implementation Analyst of electronic documentation systems. She lead projects and created tailored customer workflow solutions. Destinee left her position at Banner to start her own consulting company; Meaningful Consulting, LLC. Her provider-centric approach and 10 years of experience in both ambulatory and inpatient settings abandoned the current software sales model and instead focused on end user needs. Recruited by NextGen Healthcare, she decided to combine her passion as a consultant and knowledge of the industry to take a position as a software sales representative for the southwest region; selling EPM, EHR, RCM applications to hospitals, private practices and clinics. Her journey with Omedix has included Special Assistant to the COO, Account Management, Channel Marketing, and Operations Management.With over 12 years experience, and having implemented and trained over 3,000 providers, Destinee brings experience, competence, and patience to the digital conversion process and a deep understanding of the market needs for patient engagement.
Application Development Manager
Damian has 15+ years experience as a manager, architect and lead software engineer with a wide range of skills and expertise. He has delivered large-scale, high-volume products featuring web, mobile and big data solutions in many different industry verticals (software, healthcare, banking) for companies ranging from 1B+ revenue through to startups.
Office Manager / Controller
As the Controller, Office Manager and Personnel Manager, Patti Ohlbach is adept at wearing many hats within Omedix. She joined our group in 2014, bringing 23 years of administrative experience to the team. Patti has an eclectic combination of skills that include customer service, management, administration and accounting, and is known for her ability to keep both our internal and external users happy!
Mr. Belfer serves as a principal in Canal Partners, an Arizona-based venture capital firm specializing in software as a service. Prior to joining Canal Partners, he founded many successful ventures of his own. He was the founder of RA Sushi Bar & Restaurant, which sold to Benihana in 2002. Also sold in 2002 was his interest in a sports nutrition company, M.D. Labs, which he co-founded in 1993. Lastly, he co-founded Employee Solutions, Inc., a professional employer organization which he helped take public in 1993. Mr. Belfer is also a dedicated volunteer to Big Brothers and Big Sisters for over 10 years. Nationally, he is recognized for his work with The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and received the prestigious Regional Wings of Memory Society “Excellence in Leadership Award” for his ongoing support to the United States Holocaust Museum.
